Preparation
1. Boil 9 litres of water, then remove from heat.
2. Add 4 litres of cold water, then briskly stir in 2kg potato flakes.
3. Stir briefly again after 2-3 minutes until smooth.
Substitute the 4 litres of water with milk (in step 2) for a creamier, more buttery taste. Add salt (optional), as desired for seasoning.
